World Toilet Day & Child Rights Day Celebration
DEAP
Development Organization has celebrated world toilet day &
child rights day with sponsor children at DEAP academy Moh.
Sargojra west Chakwal. DEAP staff, teachers of academies and
all sponsor children participated in this ceremony. It was
started with recitation of Holy Quran and Naat. Three
competitions were included in ceremony i.e. naat
competition, poems competition and speech competition. All
children were really excited and they participated in all
competitions. All children were judge to select the winners
of prizes. Three children participated in naat competition,
six children participated in poems competition and six
children participated in speech competition. Mr. Hamza Wahab
was selected for first prize in naat, Mr. Zaheer was
selected in poem competition and Mr. Rashid was selected in
speech competition. All children selected nominees through
raised their hands. Mr. Muhammad Husain Bahoo a member of
B.O.D. of DEAP addressed to all children. He said we should
keep in mind right of each children. All children should
love with each other, with their family and all children of
world. He said we don’t care children right in the world.
During world war mostly children die in these wars. He said
war of terrorist should be close so that our children could
live happily in Pakistan. Mr. Atif Abbas Chief Executive of
DEAP addressed with all participants. He said our religion
Islam advice us to keep neat and clean each and every thing.
Latrine has been very important in our daily life. Open
defecation in our society has been causing severe diseases
in our people especially in our children. We should
construct latrine at our home and we should use it properly.
He shared that one gram human shit consists of one crore
viruses. All shits in open area spreading diseases in all
over area. He advised to child to always use latrine for
defecation and wash their hands with soap after use of
latrine. All children promised to use proper latrine and
wash their hands with soap. They also promised to spread
this message to all their contact persons. At the end prizes
were distributed to winners and juices and biscuits were
served to all participants from DEAP.
