Muhammad Imran is physically challenged individual and striving hard to earn income for supporting his family. He has been suffering Mobility-Moving Disability like Muscular dystrophy. From childhood he is suffering in this disability. He got education and started job as a teacher at Shah Zubair Madaris near Talagang Road Chakwal. His father has been died. He and his brother are supporting their family. Due to less salary at Madaris, he planned to run a tuck shop in his free time so that he could overcome financial problems in routine life. He has established a shop opposite Shah Zubair Madaris and he spent him time there when he comes from teaching classes.

He has been suffering Mobility-Moving Disability like Muscular dystrophy by birth.
How has this impacted on opportunity to gain a livelihood?
His father has been died. He and his brother are supporting their family. He work hard to meet monthly expenses of family but he could not succeed with less salary. So he decided to open a tuck shop so that he could get extra income for meet monthly expenses. He is a social person in his area also. All his relatives and friends have ensured him that all they will purchase daily necessities of life from his shop so he is hopeful to run his business successfully.
How has LRC supported?
Mr. Imran had contacted with DEAP Development Organization Chakwal some days ago and he shared his less earning issue with DEAP staff. DEAP is civil society organization working on Education, Health, Human Rights, Water & Sanitation and Animal & Forest Rights in Chakwal. DEAP has established physiotherapy center also for treatment of disable persons of Chakwal. DEAP has its own child sponsorship program to support poor, needy, orphan but intelligent students of Govt. Schools. All sponsor children are getting free copies, stationaries on monthly basis and free uniform on biannual basis. Three DEAP academies are providing free evening tuition to all sponsor children at evening time.
DEAP and LCD Islamabad are working with mutual understanding in Chakwal. LRC located him through DEAP. There he shared his concern and LRC found him quite concerned about his economical instability. He decided to make tuck shop so that his family could not suffer. He took a shop on rent and contacted with the wholesalers for purchasing material. He requested LRC to provide 10000 PKR on credit to purchase the material. LRC provided him with requested finance and build his financial capacity to make payment for new shop. Now he does job at Madaris first time of day and then he goes to his tuck shop. He will reimburse the loan in installments.
Any other information:
Imran believes on hard working and he is symbol of struggling. He goes to his job and shop on bike. He has purchased special motor bike for his routine movement. His brother does a lot of support to him. He works on tuck shop when Imran goes to job. All neighbors also help Imran when he open and close his shop.
