Global Hand Washing Day Celebration
DEAP
had arranged hand washing day activity with the support of
KIDS
School System Jhelum Road Chakwal on October 14, 2011. Mr.
Anjum Ejaz principal of KIDS School took keen interest in
activity. School staff and representatives of DEAP with all
school children participated in activity. Activity started
at 10 am at third floor of the school. After recitation and
naat, children presented role play and funny poetry. All
participants appreciated children events. Small girls
presented poems in front of all participants. Mr. Atif Abbas
Chief Executive of DEAP shared their views with in all
participants. He said Islam teach us how hygiene is
important in our life. We clean our parts of body when we
offer prayer five times a day. He said our 80 % diseases
removed when we wash our hands regularly. At the end
practical demonstration held with small group of children in
which they washed their hands with soap and clean water. All
children were served with juices at the end which was
arranged by DEAP.
DEAP had arranged hand washing day activity at DEAP office on October 15, 2011. Activity was started at 4 pm at DEAP academy. Participants were academy teacher, all students and Mr. Atif Abbas Chief Executive of DEAP. Activity was divided in three steps i.e. first speeches of five class students, second selection of one well dress small child and third practical demonstration of hand washing. Student of fifth and sixth classes started speeches one by one. After completion of speeches, voting process was started. Voters were all participants of activity. All children were excited to select one best child. Mr. Mubashar Shahzad class five won the prize. After it organizers arranged practical demonstration of hand washing. All participants washed their hands with soap and clean water and they promised to continue practice in their life. Third one small well dress child was selected by voting of all participants. Miss Ambreen Rashid class three won the prize of best well dress child. At the end Mr. Atif Abbas Chief Executive DEAP shared his view with all children. He advised all children to wash their hands regularly with soap and clean water. He shared right way to wash their hands with soap. All children promised to act upon on this advice. At the end all children were served with lunch, biscuits and juices. DEAP had arranged all refreshment and lunch for innocent children.
