Stationary & Uniform Distribution Ceremony
DEAP Development Organization has its own child sponsorship system to support deserving students of Govt. schools and college. DEAP has been providing free copies, stationaries on monthly basis and uniform on annual basis to each sponsor child. DEAP has also established academies for providing free coaching classes at evening time. 23 children of different Govt. schools and two girls students of Govt. College have been getting free educational facilities from DEAP.
DEAP had arranged distribution ceremony at its program
office for providing free copies, stationaries and uniform
to each sponsor child on April 15, 2012. All DEAP staff,
representatives of civil societies, NGOs and all sponsor
children including their parents participated in this
ceremony. It was started with recitation of Holy Quran. All
guests introduced themselves one by one. Ambreen Zahra,
Farzana bibi, Ume habiba and Sohail Khurshid presented naat
and poems in front of all participants. Children team
presented a roll play on health & hygiene in front of all
participants. Gift pack including free copies, stationaries
and uniform were distributed to all sponsor children.
Children were very happy to take gift packs. All parents
thanked DEAP on providing these items and struggling for
their children education. Mr. Anjum Ejaz member of BOD
shared his views with all participants. Mr. Atif Abbas CEO
DEAP also shared his views with all participants. He said
DEAP has completed one year Alhamdulillah. It has been done
due to continuous efforts of all DEAP team and with the
support of all sponsors. He first of all thanked Allah and
then all sponsors which they are providing money on monthly
basis for running child sponsorship project. He shared that
23 children of Govt. schools, 2 children of private schools
and 2 girls students of Govt. College have been taking
benefit from child sponsorship program. DEAP Disability
Rehabilitation Project has been started successfully
Alhamdulillah. Three disable persons like Muhammad Bashir
Dhakoo road, Muhammad Iftikhar moh. Islampura and Muhammad
Imran moh. Sargojra west have been achieved loan from DEAP
for establishing their business so that they could earn
their own income. DEAP has provided 10000 Rs to each two
persons and 5000 Rs to one person. They will return these
amounts after three months period in easy installments. Mr.
Atif told that DEAP physiotherapy center is also providing
health facilities to disables of district Chakwal. He said
we are also going to start sanitation project in Chakwal
city. In first phase we will work on school sanitation in
which our team will work on achieving status of open
defecation free schools at Chakwal city. Health & Hygiene
sessions will be conducted in Govt. schools and Wash Clubs
will be made for sustainability of project in these schools.
Mr. Atif Abbas requested to all participants that you should
join DEAP for collecting funds for DEAP so that more
deserving students could get benefit from child sponsorship
program. At the end he thanked all participants for joining
this ceremony. All participants were served with juices and
cold drinks.
